About Unwind Yarn Shop
Attention Fellow Yarn Lovers!
As I am sure you have heard by now your local yarn shop, formally known as Ewe-Nique Yarns, is under new ownership.
I know there have been lots of questions. I hope to answer many of them in this message. I would like to introduce myself, let you know about the things that will be staying the same around the shop and share some of the exciting new additions we will be implementing in the very new future. First, my name is Mary Haskin. I have been a long time customer of Ewe-Nique Yarns. When the opportunity presented itself to purchase Ewe-Nique Yarns I knew it was time to change careers. At this stage of my life leaving a corporate tax job for my favorite hobby, knitting, was an easy decision.
I am not here to change the shop overnight, however there are going to be some notable changes. First off and most notably, the name. The store will be now called Unwind Yarn Shop. I chose this name because I truly want YOU, the customers and friends of the shop, to have a place that you can relax, get together with friends and of course knit or crochet. We will be updating some of the furnishings in the shop to offer a more comfortable place for you to sit and knit. We want to provide you with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where you can bring your projects, get help as needed, take classes and enjoy yourself while kicking back with old and new friends. We are in the process of replenishing inventory. We are also looking to bring in items not previously carried in the store. We look forward to your suggestions on what you would like to see carried in the future. Share with us what has impressed you about other yarn shops you have visited. All ideas will be entertained. We want this to be YOUR yarn shop.
Some of the things that will not be changing are a couple of the familiar faces you love seeing around the shop. Lori Ehrlich is staying. Ellen Hulverson is back on Monday. Laura L’Esperamce is helping out. New to the Team, but not the shop, are Sue Byrum and Karen Smith. Sue will be helping out in the shop several days a week. Karen Smith has agreed to teach on Tuesday evenings. If you have any questions, please call 810-229-5579 or e-mail email@example.com.
